Radar forest monitoring

Airborne ground surveillance radar

KE Group has for some years been involved in the development of new applications of low-frequency airborne ground surveillance radar. One of the most interesting applications is to locate and pinpoint bio-mass (forest) irrespective of weather conditions, daylight and foliage.

The underlying objective is, of course, to monitor the growth of the rain forests in the world, as well as the legal and illegal exploitation of these forests.

The technical equipment installed in a plane can process images in-flight as well as record all data for later processing.
